Warriors beat RCB in a thriller

Bangalore: Warriors' Ashwell Prince and Johan Botha added 73 runs off only six-and-a-half overs to beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by three wickets off the final ball in the CLT20 opener in Bangalore on Friday.
Royal Challengers Bangalore 172 for 8 (Kohli 34, de Villiers 31, Theron 4-29) v Warriors 173 for 7

Five mid-range innings by Royal Challengers Bangalore's big three and Saurabh Tiwary and Mohammad Kaif took them to a challenging total, but Warriors did well through some athletic fielding and smart bowling to ensure no-one could kick on and get a big score. The result was a target of 173, not a walk in the park, but not completely improbable either. Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Tiwary all threatened to take the score to near 200, but they all fell between the scores of 23 and 34. With those four wickets gone, Kaif made sure Royal Challengers didn't fall to a middling total with 26 off 20.
