Kolkata Knight Riders

This team seems to have it all – star power, utility, flashers, scroungers, pace and spin.

The Knight Riders have also been brisk in marketing and promotions, leading the way for everyone else.

In Sourav Ganguly, they also have a charismatic leader and they definitely appear one of the stronger teams in the fray.

The one thing that would work against them is the number of key players who would return to play Test cricket for their respective nations.

Kolkata bank on Shoaib to keep Delhi down
Logic says never change a winning combination. Kolkata have won their last two games but may just turn that line of thinking on its head for this one, and unleash the latest Knight in their armour, Shoaib Akhtar, who has been waiting desperately for a go since touching down.

"A fit Shoaib, or even almost a 90 per cent fit Shoaib will be perfect for anyone. But again, at the same stage, we don't want to rush him in the competition," Kolkata coach John Buchanan says.
