Shane Warne is often said to be the best Australian captain to have never led the side.

What Shane Warne has on his hands now is a thinly balanced team with some international heavyweights on one side and a lot of inexperienced players on the other.

Warne will not only lead his bowling attack but also captain and coach it – that’s quite a task.

While there's no doubting the might of their first line of players, their second line don’t seem to be all that capable of handling the heat of international cricket.

Mumbai outclass Knight Riders
Sanath Jayasuriya hammered an unbeaten 48 off 17 balls and Shaun Pollock claimed three wickets for 12 runs as Mumbai Indians humbled Kolkata Knight Riders by eight wickets in the Indian Premier League match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Friday night.

After dismissing the visitors for a paltry 67 runs, which came off 15.2 overs, Mumbai Indians hit up the required runs in 5.3 overs, finishing on 68 for the loss of two wickets.

The wickets to fall were those off Sachin Tendulkar (0) and Robin Uthappa (9).

The victory swelled Mumbai Indians' tally to ten points after nine matches and propelled them to fourth on the league table, ahead of Delhi Daredevils. Kolkata Knight Riders dropped to sixth place after the loss.
